Conditions We Treat...

What is the difference between service by a podiatrist and an RN CFCS?

With changes in podiatry, physician practices & insurance coverage, routine foot and nail care is no longer commonly performed by many podiatrists & some individuals may not meet the qualifying requirements for coverage. Foot Care Nurses have undergone specialized training in providing essential foot & nail care services, and play a vital role in bridging this healthcare void. Should the need for more advanced treatment arise, Your foot care nurse will ensure appropriate referrals to the proper provider.
